Sun-washed face

I've been in a head painting class, but the required medium is oil, and that's really been killing me. So, to loosen up and relax up a bit between assignments I thought I'd do a 'quick sketch'... well, it wasn't so quick, and it's not so much a sketch as... eh, I dunno. But I like it. Found a photo on pinterest to paint from, since it was just some practice and all I really wanted was challenging lighting and colors. Just wanted a loose likeness...and that's what I got ^-^;
